Been A While

Okay, well, I haven't done much.  I went to my friends house, stayed up all night on the phone, found out some things.    Um...  I went to my little cousin's birthday party.  He was three.  Children are so cute at that age.  We were swimming.  Fun fun fun.  Well, my mom is bitching at me to get off the computer, so I'll get back to you.

Several Movies

Well, there are several movies I would lik to talk about since we last spoke/saw each other/whatever the hell you would like to call this.  ^_^  I saw In Good Company.  I good comedy, although the ending was horrible.  They should have stayed together and gotten married.  Ugh. lol

I saw Hotel Rwanda.  omg.  I cried.  Especially when they wouldn't help the children.  You know, when the nuns come running with the children, and the man says, "No Rwandans."  Then Father says, "But you can't leave the children!"  and the creepy music is playing.  "Sorry, Father, those were the orders."  And I'm sitting here whispering, "But the children!  But the children!"  lol.  It was like two in the morning, cut me some slack here.  Very sad.

I saw Revenge of the Sith, too.  And guess what?  I cried.  When he killed the kids.  Something with me and kids.  AND I HATE KIDS!  omg.  They drive me insane.  I want to kill them sometimes, but in the movies, it's just so sad.  Ugh.  Anyway, the movie was excellent.  Good action, good drama, although the "You're beautiful because I'm in love with you" scene was pretty corny.

I saw Suspect Zero, too.  Very screwed up.  It was great.  Hundreds of kids get slaughtered, but I didn't cry.  It was strange.

Okay, Erika's ratings:
In Good Company - 3.8/5 - The comedy was good, although the acting could have been better.  The drama was good.  The relationship thing could've had a happier ending.

Hotel Rwanda - 4.99/5 - Nothing's perfect, although this came close.  It had it's funny moments amidst the death and suffering, and there's never a dull moment.  The ending is quite heartwarming, too.  "There's always room."  after he had just spent forever cramming people into his hotel.  Beautiful.

Star Wars:  Revenge of the Sith - 4.5/5 - Very good, except for the cheesy love scene.  It was very stupid.  Anakin is very hot, especially as he's standing on the edge of the walkway staring out over the hot lava, making his face glow, with that black hood.  SEXAH!  Great movie.  Highly Recommended.

Suspect Zero - 4/5 - Excellent screenplay.  I could have never put it all together.  It was deep and actually required thought to watch.  It was graphic.  He finds an assload of faces cut off and stuck in a box.  Weird.  Very good, though.  If you like sick, twisted mysteries, this is your movie.  Great, though graphic.

Learn to be Lonely

Life's a bitch.  My roommate for band camp bailed on me.  So, for all I know, I could be rooming with some hoity toity bitch.  But, I don't know.  It could be okay.

Okay, other than that, my life has been pretty good.  I went to my best friend's house, and we got sunburned all day, and gossiped all night.  Great fun.  We watched Star Wars:  Phantom Menace, Star Wars:  Attack of the Clones and Star Wars:  A New Hope.  That's Episodes I, II, and IV, for those of you that don't know, and that's Episodes 1, 2, and 4, for those of you who don't know Roman numerals.  ^_^

And right now, I am sitting at the computer with my dripping hair in a turban, wearing pajamas, and I have to leave in exactly 37 minutes to go see Star Wars:  Revenge of the Sith, III, 3.  So, I have got to go.  *runs away*

Pretty Woman and Cookouts

Well, I have done absolutely nothing since my last entry, except wrote some more poetry, which I happen to be quite fond of.  I saw Pretty Woman.  Julia Roberts was so cute in that movie.  Ha ha ha.  And that's the only movie/show that could make me hate Jason Alexander or his characters!  omg.    It's strange.  And I've always loved Richad Gere.   *melts*  lol

I went to a family cookout on Memorial Day.  It was fun just to admit that I'm a redneck for once.  Yay for rednecks!

Relief

Alrighty, starting off, my day was okay.  I got up at 6:30, as usual, for school.  I had to carry a bag that weighed 30 pounds (at least) and I only weigh 96 pounds with a full stomach, lol.  I got to school and my favorite teacher, my GT (Gifted and Talented, for smart people, lol) teacher, let us play Jeopardy!  w00t.  That was a good thing.  Very fun.

Second period just had to suck.  You're not allowed to have fun at school, so they must make it unfun.  I had my Algebra I test.  I actually think I did okay though!  w00t.

Band, third hour, (yes I'm in Band, if you think that's geeky, then *sticks tongue out at you*.  I play trumpet) sucked out loud today.  All they did is piss and moan about how bad we are, and how this is and that is required and not optional.  As if we cared.  We played like three measures.  So horrible.

History, fourth hour, sucked because we had another test.  I would kill someone's evil mother-in-law if they would take my test for me.  (No, I do not take American Express)

Fifth hour, English, was actually awesome.  It usually sucks, because my teacher talks and talks and talks.  (But I love her anyway, because she's a sweetheart!)  But today the unlucky people who have to take semester tests got to review and the lucky people (like me and my guy friend) got to screw around the whole period.

Ditto for sixth hour, Science.  Lucky people did nothing.  Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha!

Last hour of the day, C/O (Career Orientation).  We never do anything in there!  ^_^.  We graded tests today.

After school, I had to ride the bus home alone!  Ugh.  My guy friends I usually sit with had other engagements.  I felt unloved.  lol.  But it's all good, because I don't have to go back to school!!!!!!!!!!!!

No more pencils,
No more books,
No more teacher's
Dirty looks!

*goes on maniacally for hours*

Storm

Well, life still sucks. My parents just exiled me from the room, but it's all good; I didn't want to be in there anyway. My life is stormy, I just got yelled at by both parents and the little brother. But, that's not what the title refers to. This type of storm makes me happy.

It's storming outside. In some parts of the area, there's 3" hail. Isn't that awesome? I love storms. They're beautiful beyond belief, especially when the sky distorts and changes colors. I can just feel the beauty in the air, smell it, see it, practically taste it. Maybe storms make me happy because they're violent. I haven't decided yet. I've never thought about the deep philosophical reason I love to watch storms. I love being a part of storms and creating them among people as well. Turmoil is beautiful.

I have an Algebra I 9-weeks test tomorrow.  Hello sweet failure.

Boredom

Boredom, yeah, I will probably have many entries titled in this way.  ^_^  I'm currently working on my first fiction chapter, it doesn't have a title... yet.  It will probably suck like everything else I write, but it's all good, right?  ^_^  <------ I love that.  Yes.

Life sucks, but every day we learn "what doesn't kill you only makes you stronger", right?  But then again, mankind also learned great philosophies such as "survival of the fittest" and "whoever lives by the sword, dies by the gun", right?  The only thing we know for sure is that life is long and hard, like a... nevermind.  (^_^)  "Life's tough, get a helmet."

Okay, on a happier note, I only have three more days of school.  THANK GOD IN HEAVEN!  Anyway, not like I have a life outside of school anyway.  lol  Grr... shall write again in happier times, when the clouds roll back, and the floodwaters recede.  *emotions weatherman predicts another storm*  Crap.  Oh well.  I'll go buy an umbrella.
